What better thing is there to do than to give Lush a visit on payday? Maybe it’s not the best idea to spend £30 on bubbles and soap but I couldn’t resist. Lush have some gorgeous new things in for their summer range and I couldn’t get over some of the names of the products.
Read on to see what I bought!
This bubble bar was the first thing I saw as I walked into the store. I have used these in the past and I absolutely love them. You simply run them under the tap and they produce lots of bubbles as well as dying your bath water a bright colour.
These are pricey, so I usually break off a quarter for each bath that I have and that’s the perfect amount. You don’t need to use a whole one every time unless you like being overwhelmed by bubbles.
BLUE SKIES AND FLUFFY WHITE CLOUDS
This is exactly the same as above but it’s in a gorgeous sky blue – and I couldn’t get over the name, how cute?!
MELTING MARSHMALLOW MOMENT
Luxury Bath Melt
This product is a luxury – there’s no two ways about it; I bought this as a treat for myself. This product can be simply placed in a full, perfect temperature bath and you just watch it bob and foam away. I haven’t tried this product before, but it’s meant to leave you feeling silky smooth and moisturised. I’m going to save this one to use the night before a special occasion.
This is very similar to the product above but it’s a bath fizzer. The only difference is that the product fizzes and very quickly dissolves into the water; you could pair this with one of the bubble bars. There may be some exciting colours inside that burst out as the product melts into the water but i’ll have to wait and see!
TEA TREE WATER
I bought this out of pure curiosity, (this is the larger bottle). I love how Lush use only natural ingredients in their products and they are completely against animal testing.
This is toner water which only contains 6 ingredients including tea tree water, grapefruit water, juniperberry water, limonene, perfume & methylparaben. You simply spray this product either directly onto your face or onto a cotton wool pad after cleansing. This can be used before you go to sleep or under your makeup in the morning. I used it last night before bed and it’s super refreshing.
“Tea tree is antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial, so can help keep away the bacteria that can cause spots. Grapefruit is rich in vitamins and is also lightly astringent on the skin, whilst juniperberry is antiseptic and helps keep skin clean and clear.” – Lush.co.uk
Fresh Face Mask
This product is another luxury for me, it’s quite pricey for the small amount that you get. This product must be kept in the fridge which is another down side for me because it means that I have to remember its there and it’s not easy to just grab and go. However, it smells so fresh and contains small almond pieces which exfoliate the skin very gently.
I have never tried Lush face masks before but I’m very excited! They have a range of various types but I chose this one because it suits normal to oily skin and I love that it contains the little pieces of almonds.
Thanks for reading! See you again soon,
