My Makeup Collection & Beauty Area
I have a ‘beauty corner’ in my bedroom that has everything product, makeup and hair related stored there. The white box units are from Ikea and they’re a really cheap, pretty way to store products in an organised way.
So you can see my hair appliances, make up, brushes and makeup bags at first glance.
I bought my makeup containers recently from a cheap home store. They’re not ideal as I would have preferred drawers for practicality reasons but I have one for face, one for eyes and one for lips. My palettes are stored in the white napkin holder apart from the boxy Urban Decay NYC one underneath my brushes. I also store my perfumes here too.
Face products (with a couple of lipsticks in there too – oops)
Lip products & testers
I made my containers for my brushes which I talked about in a previous post. Read it here.
On the shelf above my make up, I keep my favourite nail varnish that I always grab for, makeup bags, my giant contour brush from EcoTools, bobby pins, tweezers and skin products in the brown container.
The pink bag from Ted Baker holds small bits and bobs that are easily lost. There’s spare hair ties, my favourite nail varnishes, lip balm, clippers etc.
The brown box holds my skin products including my Clinique anti-blemish solutions cleanser, simple moisturiser and products from Clinique Bonus Time. I use most of these products every day.
I store my bobby pins and tweezers in this glass tea light holder from Ikea. I spoke about this in my University room storage post. Read it here.
One of the drawers in my Ikea units holds all of the large bottled products that i’m currently using or new products that I haven’t started using yet. Stuff found in here includes my favourite Bed Head hairspray & shampoo, Sea Salt spray, hairbrushes, Avon makeup setting spray and wipes.
My hair appliances are on a heat mat on top of the other unit. I use my hairband towel to keep the wet hair off my face just after showering.
My clothes rail is next to my beauty corner. It’s a brilliant way of storing my clothes because I can see everything at glance. I have a wardrobe but it has nothing but clean towels and bedding in it.
Thank you for reading I hope you found it interesting and helpful!
